Lavenders Flowers specializes in working closely with clients to create a unique visual narrative for each and every event based on the organic, raw, and natural style developed by owner Janelle. Each one of Janelle’s whimsical designs incorporates elements of color theory and sculpture based on Janelle’s background in art setting her designs apart from many other designers on the market, in additions to her passion for sustainability and locally sourced materials and developing personal client relationships. Description:

At Lavenders Flowers we are always on the lookout for energetic and fun individuals with an eye for design who can join in the process of floral design. Interns play a vital role in what we do here at Lavenders Flowers. We love our interns and look forward to adding new members to our team who each bring their own unique experience. Our goals for interns are twofold: to grow as individuals, professionally and personally; and to help us accomplish more than we otherwise could.

While this internship can be demanding at times, it also can be a lot of fun and affords you with the opportunity to learn a multitude of skills both in hands-on floral design and the practical aspects of small business operations. We do our best to tailor each internship experience to the interests of each intern. During the internship you will not only learn the ins and outs of the wedding world and grow in your floral knowledge, but also build new friendships as part of the LF family.

LF is very intentional in both providing a very hands on training to help interns grasp an extensive knowledge of florals through the Bloom Project, and in providing an apprentice model of learning. Interns will be included in all aspects of the floral process from cleaning buckets, to processing flowers and making arrangements, to wedding setup and clean-up.

Studio clean up (scrubbing buckets, sweeping floors, taking out trash, etc)
